Welcome to my website!

I’m Colleen James,  and I’m wife to a fun-loving, easy-going husband and mama to two precious, albeit rambunctious boys.

My love for writing stems well into my adolescence,  but I became a lot more serious about this hobby when I started a blog (originally called Anticipating Adventure) near the end of 2019. Now, over five years later, my passion for writing has only grown, and God has given me a new sense of purpose through it as I have recently begun to write (and work towards publishing) children’s books.

This website is dedicated to capturing the spiritual insights I’ve gained throughout the years, the occasional recipe, and information on my new and upcoming children’s books.
